Pineapple #1

My first pineapple plant is really growing! The leaves have now reached past its basket pot. I'm seriously considering trying to force it to flower and thus sprout a pineapple. But, I just don't think it's large enough.

Here's a website I found that speaks a lot about pineapples, including how to force it to flower. I want to try the apple method, but we'll see in another month or so.
